Why take CIBTAC Beauty Therapy Diploma

The Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC) has been producing beauty, complementary & spa therapy graduates of the highest calibre since 1977.

The CIBTAC Professional Beauty Therapy Diploma is a level 3 internationally recognised beauty therapy diploma designed so that graduates become fully qualified beauty therapists who are salon ready and able to explore the wide beauty career path of their choice.

Course Outline

What will you learn?

CIBTAC Level 2 DIPLOMA IN BEAUTY THERAPY SERVICE WITH
LEVEL 3 AWARD IN FACIAL ELECTROTHERAPY TREATMENTS
  • Manicure – regular painting techniques, french polish, hand massage and warm oil/paraffin wax nourishing treatments
  • Pedicure – regular painting techniques, french polish, deluxe spa, foot scrub and massage
  • Facial and Skin Care – incorporating massage, mixing and application of face masques, steaming and extraction, product knowledge
  • Waxing – using both hot bees wax and strip wax methods
  • Eyes – including eyelash and eyebrow tinting and shaping, application of false eyelashes and professional make-up from day and evening looks, through to bridal techniques
  • Electrical Facial Treatments – including Micro-current non-surgical lift, Vacuum Suction, Galvanic and Faradic E.M.S. machines

To obtain the CIBTAC  Beauty Therapy Diploma you will need to complete the outlined modules across a 24 week period.
The modules are:
  • 1 Aesthetic Treatments including Facial electrical machines
  • 2 Body Treatments including Swedish body massage and electrical machines
  • 3 Figure Diagnosis
  • 4 Anatomy and Physiology

  • 2 Entry Requirements

    A high level of English is required, you must be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently. (Suggestion of TOEFL score of 550 or higher for students when English is not their first language) The minimum age for entry to this course is 18 years – no exceptions. No previous experience required, although a good general education is essential for this demanding course. An informal interview is required for this course, either by phone or in person. International students will be required to gain a ‘Standard Visitor Visa’ and pay the relevant International Student Fee for this course. If you have any medical conditions, please email contact@beauty-school.co.uk or call us on 020 3026 7453 BEFORE booking on to the course. This will allow us to discuss the practicalities of you completing the course. Failure to do so may result in you not being able to join the course.
