Why take VTCT (ITEC) Fibroblast Level 4 Plasma Pen Course

The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Fibroblast Plasma Pen Course is a beauty aesthetic qualification aimed at level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add Plasma Pen Techniques to their repertoire of treatment offerings.

This qualification encompasses all the necessary components to become a fully qualified Plasma Pen practitioner and is based on national and international standards for aesthetic beauty.

What is Plasma Pen and Fibroblast Skin Tightening?

Fibroblast Skin Tightening is a soft surgery method and a revolutionary technique for perfect facial rejuvenation. A Plasma Pen operates on electricity, which is converted to gaseous diatomic nitrogen (N2). This energised gas is applied to the area of treatment, which is used as an abrasive on a micro level to the epidermal layer of skin (the top or outermost layers) and also heats and stimulates the deeper layers.

What is Fibroblasting?

Fibroblasting is the process via which a Plasma Pen operates. Although the word “blasting” may suggest something strong or scary, the phrase “fibroblast” really refers to a common type of cell found in the connective tissue of your body: fibroblasts. Collagen is produced by fibroblasts, and by inducing this collagen production, the Plasma Pen therapy can target:

  • Ageing skin
  • Scarring
  • Pigmentation
  • Wrinkles and fine lines
  • Sun-damaged skin
  • Dull or uneven skin tone
  • Moles,Warts, Skin Tags, Red Spots Removal
  • Enlarged pores

While the PlasmaPen cannot completely halt the aging process, the results are long-lasting and a natural, less invasive alternative to Botox. New lines and wrinkles that appear on patients after an initial treatment process should only require a quick revision.
