What are the restrictions for Microblading?

To ensure the safety and effectiveness of Microblading, there are certain restrictions and guidelines that must be followed. Models must not have or be on the following:

Antibiotics
Anticoagulants
Acne Medications
Be pregnant or breastfeeding
Have a history of keloid scarring
Have diabetes
Have cancer
Have a compromised immune system
Have an active infection
Herpes (cold sore) on the treated area
Have allergies or skin healing problems

We will also carry out a patch test

It is important for models to ensure that they do not have any of these issues prior to booking the treatment. Failure to meet these requirements may result in being turned down for the treatment on the day.

What to expect on the day of your appointment

On the day of your microblading appointment, you can expect the following steps:

Client Form/Consent Form: Upon arriving at your appointment, you’ll be asked to complete a client form and a consent form. These forms collect important information about your health, previous treatments, and consent for the microblading procedure.
Consultation: After completing the forms, you will go through a consultation process with the learner or tutor. During this consultation, you’ll discuss your preferences and expectations for your eyebrows. This includes talking about the desired eyebrow shape, thickness, and color. Be sure to communicate your preferences clearly during this phase.
Assessment and Suitability Check: The learner or tutor will then assess whether you are a suitable candidate for microblading. They will consider factors like your skin type and any potential contraindications that could affect the procedure’s success.
Mapping the Eyebrows: If you are deemed suitable for the treatment and your preferences are discussed and agreed upon, the learner will proceed to map out the shape of your eyebrows. This involves carefully measuring and marking the outline of your brows to ensure they complement your facial features.
Final Approval: Once the learner has mapped out the eyebrows to suit your face and you are satisfied with the proposed shape, the microblading treatment will begin. It’s essential to provide final approval before proceeding with the actual procedure.
Microblading Treatment: Our learners will use a specialised handheld tool with fine needles to create hair-like strokes on the surface of your skin. Pigment that matches your desired eyebrow color will be deposited into these strokes, giving the appearance of natural eyebrow hairs.
Aftercare Advice: After completing the microblading treatment, the learner or artist will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions. Following these instructions is crucial to ensure proper healing and the best possible results.

Terms and Conditions

It is important to understand and agree to these conditions before booking the treatment.

We reserve the right to amend the treatment if we determine that the model’s chosen area is not suitable. In such cases, an alternative treatment area may be offered.
Refunds are subject to the following conditions:
- If the model is deemed unsuitable for the treatment on the day due to any of the mentioned restrictions, no refund will be provided.
- If the model cancels the appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled treatment, no refund will be provided.
- In unforeseen circumstances or issues, the management retains the right to decide on refund eligibility.

Please note that it is the model’s responsibility to ensure that they do not have any of the aforementioned conditions before booking the treatment. Failure to meet these requirements will result in the model not being eligible for a refund. By booking your treatment, you will be automatically agreeing to our terms and conditions.
