The Allure of Central London: Our Baker Street Academy
Set in the heart of London, Baker Street is more than just a hub for Sherlock Holmes enthusiasts. Set amidst a rich legacy, Baker Street holds something for all - from tourists to locals. Famed as the residence of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's legendary detective, it boasts the well-known Sherlock Holmes Museum. But there's much more to explore on this iconic street. A stone’s throw away lies one of London’s greenest spaces - Regent’s Park. A haven for nature lovers offering boating lakes, sports pitches, beautiful gardens and even a zoo.
Amenities Around Every Corner
This vibrant neighbourhood is also home to a wide array of amenities essential for students at our Academy. Baker Street offers a range diverse eateries: from cosy and trendy cafes serving artisanal coffee perfect for study breaks, to upscale restaurants and classic British pubs dishing out comfort food - you're spoilt for choice when hunger strikes between classes and to celebrate your academic achievements. Marylebone High Street, known for its unique blend of boutique shops and high-end brands, adds more flavour to your student experience here. Nip to Selfridges for some window shopping after your class, or stroll down Oxford street which is only a short walk away.
An Epicentre Of Cultural Significance
Baker Street isn’t just about modern convenience though; it plays host to many historical landmarks too. One such site being Madame Tussauds – where you can meet lifelike wax figures ranging from movie stars to world leaders. Another is The Wallace Collection: a stunning house with equally stunning 18th century paintings, furniture, porcelain and armour, also the home of famous Laughing Cavalier. Note: Our central location doesn't only mean convenient access but also allows students to immerse themselves into British culture while they learn their craft at Ray Cochrane Beauty Academy. Now that you know that you will never get bored whilst studying with us - why not book a tour of our Academy? We love showing students our classrooms and environment. And the best part? You can make a day out of it and explore our neighbourhood. Watch the video on this page to see how to get to us and get a glimpse of our wonderful Academy. *Please note that with tours often taking place during lesson time means that not all classrooms will be available to view due to ongoing teaching; but we will do our best to show you as much as we can
